Appointment Times

The surgery is open for appointments on weekday mornings from 8am until 1.00pm, and afternoons from 2.00pm until 6.30pm.

In addition, we open early on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7.00am. On Wednesdays we have appointments until 8.00pm.

These extended opening hours are for pre-booked appointments only and no other services are available at those times.

How to make an Appointment

Routine Appointments

Appointments can normally be booked up to four weeks in advance.

Urgent Appointments

If you feel you need an appointment to be seen on the same day, please call as early as possible after 8.00am or book an appointment online via EMIS Patient Access.

In some circumstances you may be offered a telephone consultation. For example if you are suffering from vomiting and diarrhoea we ask that you do not come down to the surgery for 48 hours from when symptoms have ended.

Further Information

When booking your appointment, please let us know what the appointment is for so that the reception staff can direct you to the most appropriate clinician; please note that medication reviews need to be booked in advance and cannot be done on the day.

Whatever the complaint, if you book an appointment to see a clinician, our team will ensure that you receive the correct consultation for your ailment.

We take advance bookings for certain medical checks; these include GGV/PSV, Taxi driver and pre-employment medicals, although these will incur a charge.

Please consult our list of Fees and Charges for more information.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason, please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
